Our mission is to facilitate the study of scripture for inmates of the Moore County Jail in Carthage.

Locally, at Sacred Heart Parish, we are looking for volunteers for this ministry.  We hold our study and service once a week, Tuesdays, 11 am to noon, at the jail in Carthage. Two or more parish members facilitate these sessions. 

We volunteer, which we understand to be the highest of commitments. We operate via a calendar sent to us each month.  We use the facilitation mode of study for our services and understand we are not teachers, preachers or counselors. 

We are folks from Sacred Heart Parish doing God's work and we encourage others to join us. Please contact Cliff Sumrall  or go by the Parish office for an application.
